N.C. Concealed
Handgun Permit
Who This Class is For:
NC residents 21 years or older who want to carry a concealed weapon. All skill levels are welcome in this course.
Class Description
The ever popular concealed carry class covers North Carolina state law requirements for carrying a concealed handgun, proper firearms safety, and basic handling of your everyday firearm to ensure you leave a safer and more confident citizen. You will earn the CHP certificate, which you will take to the sheriff’s office in your resident county to apply for the license.

Class Locations
The location of the classroom portion of CCP is dependent on each particular class. The location for each will be listed in the response email after registering for the class.
The range/shooting portion of CCP will always be conducted at the VOD Tactical range complex.

What to Expect:

Learn how to safely handle & manipulate your own pistol

What to Bring:

A good attitude!

Your pistol. (Rentals available see below)

1 or 2 magazines for your pistol, for using semi-automatic pistols.

50 rounds of ammo for your pistol

Personal protective gear: eye & ear protection, billed cap, close-toed shoes

If you have the Cleaning kit & instruction manual for your pistol, please bring it. However, this is not required.

A snack and water bottle for yourself. You may also like to bring a comfortable camp chair to sit in at the range.
